“My mom is the most influential person in my life because she teaches me how to be a powerful woman and to stand up for what I believe in. Not only this, but she also teaches me to not be treated like a doormat and to really work for what you want. My mom and I are very close, along with the rest of my family. I have an older brother and a younger brother, so when I go home to Jamaica, I don’t really hangout with anyone else but my family because all we need is each other.”
